About The Workshop
Bernard Kates and I first met seven years ago on the leadership team of Achology, a global start-up founded by Kain Ramsay that taught life coaching, CBT, hypnotherapy, and business skills. Even then, we connected over one big idea — that real transformation begins with understanding yourself.
Today, from our homes in New South Wales, Australia and Wellington New Zealand , we’re collaborating to bring that belief to life through the Living from the Heart Workshop Series.
Inspired by Bernard’s book Living from the Heart (and our upcoming Leading from the Heartm this heartfelt and practical experience helps people move from stuckness to self-acceptance, find peace in the present, and live with genuine purpose.

Lesley Moran is a wellbeing and leadership coach who helps people reconnect with who they are, discover their strengths, and lead with authenticity. With more than two decades in recruitment, most of it as a senior corporate recruiter, she’s spent her career mentoring leaders and matching people to roles where they truly fit and thrive.
For the past twelve years, Lesley has combined her corporate insight with modalities such as EFT, NLP, hypnotherapy, CBT, and behavioural analytics through Harrison Assessments, where she is a certified leadership coach. Her work blends heart and practicality, guiding people to reduce stress, rebuild confidence, and live with genuine purpose and wellbeing.
